Slieve Aughty Centre is a family run equestrian and activity centre in the west of Ireland. Began in 1986, the centre offers horse riding, walking and cycling family adventures, all based on its peaceful and remote 35 acre farm in East County Galway. We are surrounded by more than 2,000 acres of Coillte managed forest, and our organic garden is the basis of our delicious and healthy food.
A true retreat from the hectic day to day life, Slieve Aughty has expanded its buildings and offerings to include small conferences and weddings, school tours, festivals, workshops and trainings. We serve both the local community and abroad with riding holidays and English lessons and horse riding by the hour (lessons and treks), and our cross country course is a great schooling ground.
